Getting Started

For months now I have browsed thru other peoples blog spots & admired them...Thinking what a wonderful place to journal about your daily life & have a place to look back on when the children are grown. Not that my life is that exciting but at times raising these 2 boys (Logan, 5 & Seth, 2) can be a true adventure. So I am going to attempt to give it a try.... I have never been a person to journal, quite frankly I probably only did it back in school when I had too & even then I probably made them all up the night before I had to turn the journal in! :o) SO.... here we go.....



My name is Joy, I am 35 yrs old & have been married to Steven for 15 yrs now! (WOW, who said we would never make it!) We both were born & raised in the South & never ventured far from home. I am a Registered Nurse currently working at a Local hospital in the ER & I also work from home for a local insurance company. We have 2 beautiful boys, Logan who is 5 who will be starting K-5 in the fall & currently loves anything having to do with baseball, Transformers or the Power Rangers. Seth who is 2, we hope to enroll him in a K-2 program this fall (fingers crossed that a spot opens up) he is currently at home & keeping us entertained & busy every waking moment! There are very few things I can say he loves .... he's not much of a toy or TV child.... he likes being outdoors, eating, trucks & probably anything that he is not supposed to have! You know small objects & anything that could be dangerous to a 2 yr old! :o) We love the lake & go on frequent camping trips there, love the boat & love annual trips to the beach. We have lots of animals 4 cats (Sugar, 15; Sassy & Shadow, 14; & Princess, 6) & 3 dogs (Hank, Precious & Sweet Pea, 11yrs) we had many yrs before the boys were born & these were our first babies!! :o)
